I work with schools and other stakeholders to raise educational achievement and promote participation and engagement for all pupils. |

I have responsibility for youth justice, social services, placement and provider services and policy, practice and quality assurance. Over the next two years, area children’s services will develop stronger links with the delivery of integrated services in localities through children’s trust arrangements and the emerging network of children’s centres and extended schools. |
![]() | Alan Dinning – Deputy Director Integrated Children's Services Portfolio I lead on integration of services with our many partners in order to deliver the children’s trust agenda. A stronger focus on early identification and prevention, requires action and new ways of working at all levels. I also have responsibility for taking the lead in establishing children’s trust arrangements. By the end of 2008 we will have 50 children’s centres up and running, and at least 225 schools will be offering extended services, based in some of the most disadvantaged wards in Hertfordshire. |
![]() | Martin South - Head of Strategy My job is to support and challenge CSF to deliver better services for its customers. This means promoting and co-ordinating performance management and self-evaluation and inspection processes. These include helping to improve the way we listen to children, young people and other customers and the way we use their feedback. It also involves leading our planning and improvement processes to make sure we identify weaknesses and take steps to address them. |
![]() | Claire Cook - Head of Resources I am head of resources, responsible for leading the development of the budget strategy within CSF. I make sure that the service understands the financial consequences of its decisions, that these represent good value for money and can be delivered within available resources. In the context of the centralisation of support services (Human Resources and Finance), I am responsible for ensuring that service levels are planned and resourced and are delivered to meet the requirements of CSF. |
