Another step closer to an alternative to landfill
Hertfordshire County Council's latest Cabinet meeting (19 July) has brought the county another step closer to an alternative method of disposing of waste that cannot be reused or recycled.
The process of procuring a new residual waste management service to complement Hertfordshire’s efforts to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover has progressed with the further short listing of two companies at the meeting.
