Participation strategy and toolkit

The participation strategy aims to ensure that, by the end of March 2009, participation, consultation and involvement are embedded within:
the values and strategies of children’s and young people’s workforce agencies
the development and training of any workforce agency dealing with children and young people
all commissioning activities
To achieve this, children, young people and their parents and carers will be trained and developed so that they can play a part in the design, running, monitoring and evaluation of services.
