Family Information Service

You can access  Hertfordshire childcare information online here.

This online service enables you to access over 2000 Ofsted registered childcare providers. If you are looking for a childminder, pre-school or day nursery this will be ideal for you. The facility will also provide information on out of school activities such as holiday and after school clubs. Simply enter your postcode and the childcare in your local area will be displayed.

If you need any further information or help, the Family Information Service can be contacted via the online enquiry form or alternatively call 0300 123 4052 Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm.

Please note that some childcare providers choose not to display their information on the internet - a full list is available from the Family Information Service.

Choosing the right childcare for your family can be difficult. To make an informed decision and for an unbiased guide see the parents guide to childcare choices.
