Hertfordshire Guide Centre was formerly the Primary School and is set in the picturesque village of Cottered. Is is a modern building rebuilt on the site of the original school in 1972. It sleeps 30 people on mattresses and has 5 beds in two bedrooms. It has a kitchen, fully equipped for 40 people, a shower, toilets and a large assembly hall.

Outside we have a camping field, enclosed by hedges and a gate with vehicle access. This could hold up to 50 pitches. The field also has a newly built shower and toilet block, with hot water and outside stainless steel sink with hot and cold water.

Space for 50 pitches
Toilets, washbasins, showers, water tap
Camp fire circle
Activity Trail suitable for children from 3 years old to teenagers

Indoor facilities include:
35 beds/mattresses
Toilets, showers
Kitchen

Costs:
Single pitch per night - £3.50 per person
Bed indoors per night - £6.00 per person
