16? What Next? Once the stress of your GCSEs has passed and you've got your results, you need to decide your next move.

There are quite a few options: stay on at school to do A-levels, go to college to study, go out to work, or maybe you would prefer to join an apprenticeship scheme.

Nobody's situation will be exactly the same and there will be many things that will help you make your decision.

Financial assistance is available for students attending school sixth form or FE college aged 16 to 18 years old (and those who started their course before their 19th birthday).
