Highway Fault Reporting
Hertfordshire Highways has recently enhanced the online fault reporting system that allows customers to report faults or problems on the roads online.
There are now three ways you can report faults online:
As a Business User, you can create an account and use this account to report faults and check on the progress of any faults you have reported. You will also be able to use this account for other services as they become available. This process will take a few minutes.
As a Citizen User, you can create an account and use it in the same way as a Business User.
As a Guest User, you can report faults and incidents without the need to register. If you wish you can leave contact details and we will keep you informed of progress by e-mail.
To log a new fault or create a new account, please click here.
If you have already created an account and wish to see faults logged after 6 February 2012, please click here.
If you require an update on faults logged before 6 February 2012, please email hertsdirect@hertscc.gov.uk and our highways team will investigate and respond to you.
By using the online fault reporting system, your report will be directed to the most appropriate contact automatically and allow us to quickly decide what action is necessary and take action.
If, however, the highway fault poses an immediate threat to safety, please call the police.
