Going to a new school is a very important step for your child. Hertfordshire County Council wants to make the process of applying for a school place as easy as possible for parents and carers. The information on these pages is intended to guide you through the application and allocation process.

Applications for September 2014  

Under 11s

Allocations from the second run of continuing interest were released on Wednesday 18 June. Click here for more information.

Secondary Transfer

Nursery

Determined Admission Arrangments 2015-16

Hertfordshire County Council has determined its admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools for 2015/16 and has also agreed schemes of coordination for primary and secondary schools for the 2015/16 academic year. In Year Applications

In year applications are where children wish to change school outside the usual transfer period. The process for applying for In Year admissions has changed and you should carefully read the information on the In Year pages using the link on the left.
