Hertfordshire County Council employs a range of programmes to help families both safely access the schools of their choice and use travel modes that could improve the well being of those who use them and the local and wider environment.

We are currently working on our Sustainable School Travel Strategy and the development programme for this together with the current School Travel Action Group Strategy can be found below, together with information about some of our supporting programmes and policies.
