Local history

In the Local Studies Library, visitors can see printed and published materials. These include books and pamphlets, newspapers and periodicals, directories, theses, maps, photographs, a range of CD-ROMS and access to the internet.

In the Archive Reading Room, visitors can consult original documents. These include records of the County Council, as well as local parish churches, families, estates and businesses.
