Births, Deaths, Marriages and Partnerships
From 14th April 2008 the existing eight registration districts in Hertfordshire, Bishop’s Stortford, Broxbourne, Dacorum, Hertford and Ware, Hitchin and Stevenage, St Albans and Watford will be amalgamated to form the new district of Hertfordshire covering the whole County.The purpose of this change is to give a more flexible service to the public. From 14th April 2008 any birth, death or stillbirth occurring in Hertfordshire can be registered at any one of our offices. Notices of marriage and civil partnership for couples residing in Hertfordshire can also now be given at any office in Hertfordshire.
