Royston & District Community Transport

Royston & District Community Transport aims to provide a low cost transport service for residents of Royston and the surrounding area who are eligible for reasons of age, impaired mobility or rural isolation.

The scheme functions on a non-profit basis and liaises with the health and social services, other statutory services and voluntary bodies.

The scheme provides volunteer drivers using their own cars or minibus/MPV for transport of eligible persons for social and health reasons.

Travel fee: 45p per mile (minimum charge £3.50).

A wheelchair-accessible minibus is available for 79p per km.
A wheelchair-accessible MPV is available for 80p per mile.
