British Parachute Schools

Langar Airfield is used exclusively by BPS, with a variety of its own jumpships. It has unlimited altitude, no other aircraft activities and no air traffic problems.

This is a British Parachute Association approved centre open seven days a week, all year round. Langar is the largest and busiest Drop Zone in the country.

BPA qualified instructors provide complete training from BPA Category 1 (Beginner) to Category 8 (Qualified Solo Skydiver) and on to formation skydiving, freeflying, skysurfing, etc. The parachute and skydiving courses include all the necessary training, the hire of the parachute equipment and third party insurance.

A canteen, bunkhouse accommodation and camping and caravanning sites are available on the airfield.

Opening Hours: 9.00am-8.00pm or dusk ,whichever comes earlier.
