Harrow Coin Club

Established over 30 years ago to serve the interest of coin, banknote, token and medal collectors.

Day/Time of Meetings: 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 7.30pm-10.30pm.

* 10th December 2007 - Discussion;
* 14th January 2008 - English Coinage Part 2: D Powell;
* 10th & 26th January 2008 - Club Members at Stanmore Library;
* 28th January 2008 - The Thames Barge: T Earles;
* 11th February 2008 - The Money Makers: S Baxter;
* 24th March 2008 - TBA;
* 24th April 2008 - Gambling Machines and their Tokens: R Baxter;
* 28th April 2008 - TBA;
* 12th May 2008 - TBS;
* 9th June 2008 - AGM;
* 23rd June 2008 - Africa: R Edwards.


Each meeting consists of a short talk by a visiting speaker or by a member, then there is a three prize raffle followed by an auction of numismatic items being sold by members or on behalf of members of the public.

Each year the club holds exhibitions at local libraries with members in attendance to identify and give advice on any numismatic item brought in by the public.

Annual Identification and Valuation for the public: Saturday 19th January and Saturday 26th January 9.30am-4.30pm at Stanmore Library.
