The society formed in 1988, holds monthly meetings on the third Monday of each month at 7.30pm for 8.00pm in the All Saints Church Hall, Melbourn. No meetings in July or August. Their aim is to help anyone tracing their family tree especially in the Royston area.

The group runs a bookshop and exchanges journals with other societies. Various publications are available for sale to help researchers of local families.

* overseas single - £9.00
* family - £9.00
* overseas family - £11.00
