The Foundation is one of the longest established counselling training organisations in the area (over 25 years). It offers training in counselling skills and counselling from introductory to full professional level. Courses are validated by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, The Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body and the Westminster Pastoral Foundation.
Trainees on the Foundation's professional courses have the opportunity, after careful selection, to do counselling under supervision within the Foundation's counselling service. The integration of theory, experiential work, counselling practice and supervision into one course make the Foundation's training unique.
The high quality of training was recently commented upon by the panel of BACP appraisers. The Foundation's aim is to provide graduates of the highest quality, who will contribute to the well-being of the community.
