Membership costs £15.00 per year.
If you care about what your children read, then St Albans Children's Book Group is for you. Their aim is to encourage children for all ages to enjoy books and reading. They organise visits by authors and illustrators to schools and to local venues, run storytimes for younger children, and offer members the chance to take part in testing books for the Red House Children's Book Award.
Membership is open to families, schools and individuals - anyone with an interest in children's books. As a member you will receive Carousel magazine (a guide to the best in children's books) termly, plus newsletters from the Federation of Children's Book Groups. Members also get discounted entry to the events that they run.
