The Hertfordshire Learning Disability Partnership Board

Restricted use (ACS comms) new developmentsThe Government wants everyone with a learning disability to have excellent services.

In 2001 they told us what to do in a paper called ‘Valuing People’.

Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) then set up the Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB).

In January 2009 the Government launched Valuing People Now. This three year plan is to make sure that all people with learning disabilities have better lives. It is the Learning Disability Partnership Board's job to make this happen.

The group of people who make up the LDPB is now busy looking at services like health and housing, learning, jobs and advocacy.
