Housing Services - Responsible for: Homlessness and housing needs advice; Housing Development; Housing tenant services; Maintenance, repair and refurbishment of council housing; Right to buy scheme; Transfers and waiting lists.

Community Services - Responsible for: Community centres; Concessionary travel and bus passes; Leisure development; Lunch clubs and meals on wheels for the elderly; Museum service; Parks and open spaces; Sports promotion; Campus West.

Planning and Transport - Responsible for: Building control and regulations; Business development; Dangerous structures; Deveopment control; Planning applications and policy; Tree preservation orders; Welwyn Hatfield District Plan, Local Transportation.

Resources - Responsible for: Business rates; Benefit fraud investigations; Council tax; Council tax and housing benefits; Revenue collection; Management of neighbourhood shopping centres.
