Area covered is Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross and Goffs Oak.

Information and advice about the Council's services can be obtained by visiting the Council's One Stop Shops in the town centres of Cheshunt, Hoddesdon and Waltham Cross.

Council Services:

Cemeteries - Borough Council service includes management of the cemeteries and chapels at Cheshunt and Hoddesdon, liason with funeral directors and administration of deeds and records.

Concessionary Bus Permits - The Council administers the Concessionary Bus Permits Scheme for residents of Broxbourne Borough. The Scheme allows reduced fare travel for those who qualify.

Environmental Services - Services provided include: Grounds Maintenance; Local Licensing; Pest Control; Recycling; Planning and Building Control; Refuse Collection; Pay and Display Car Parks; Street Cleaning.

Finance - The Council Tax section deals with all aspects of the collection of Council Tax. The Benefits section deals with Council Tax Benefit and Housing Benefit.

Community Services - Department responsible for: The community alarm system; Meals on wheels; housing strategy; Allotments, Parks, Open spaces, Childrens playgrounds and Football and Cricket pitches; Grundy Park Leisure Centre; Hoddesdon Open Air Pool; Lowewood Museum; The John Warner Sports Centre; Goffs Sports Centre; Cheshunt Park golf course.

Town Twinning:
The Borough is twinned with Dinant in Belgium, with Stains in France and with Sutera in Sicily.
