OVERVIEW
As an organisation the fire service has been building effective teams for years and appreciates that team building and leadership qualities are essential to any organisation who wants to develop their business and understand the strengths of their colleagues. Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service Commercial Training has taken a range of activities, to provide a unique highly participative training day, that will enable delegates to strengthen team bonds and gain an understanding of the benefits of good team work and leadership skills.

Employees of every level, working in any organisation.

Organisations looking for an added element to their internal leadership and development programme.

Smaller organisations looking to build team motivation within their workplace.

OBJECTIVES

Develop and promote effective leadership and team building

Create profiles on delegates for future development plans
within any organisation

Provide delegates with a safe, rewarding and enjoyable
personal development experience

Improve communication (to include waterfall and cascade)

CONTENT
The unique and challenging design of the tasks and activities reflect operational roles encountered within the fire service. Each course is developed specifically with each organisation.

Methods of building effective communication skills

Principals of emotional and psychological aspects of team management
