THE TEAM
Our team of training officers consists of current or retired fire fighters and specialists in the field of Health & Safety. Our specialists are members of IOSH and Registered Safety
Practitioners and continually keep up to date with professional training courses. Their unique, dynamic and practical techniques provide an unforgettable award winning training experience.

TARGET AUDIENCE
All members of staff employed on an employers premises.

OBJECTIVES
To provide delegates with a greater awareness of the importance of health and safety issues in the workplace; specifically understanding legislation, risk assessment and the principles of accident prevention.

  • Legal requirements that affect the workplace

  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related regulations

  • Risk Assessment and Control

  • Manual Handling

  • Fire Prevention and Control

  • Principles of Accident / Incident Prevention

  • Introduction to basic types of hazards

    Extensive reference pack provided

    QUALIFICATION
    IOSH Working Safely Certificate
    Upon passing written and practical examinations

    LOCATION
    At Longfield Training & Development Centre or client’s premises.

    OTHER INFORMATION
    Refreshments; Tea/coffee and lunch provided.
    Dress Code; Loose, comfortable clothing.
