THE TEAM
Our training officers are current or retired operational fire fighters with years of extensive service and knowledge. Their unique, dynamic and practical fire fighting techniques provide an unforgettable award winning training experience.

TARGET AUDIENCE Designated members of staff with key responsibilities for:

Fire Marshal (Warden)

Operation of fire extinguishers

Nominated employees with a role in the event of fire

OBJECTIVES
To provide delegates with the skills and knowledge required to act as a confident and competent marshal/warden.

Expectations of a Fire Marshal

Fire precautions in the workplace

Action when: discovering a fire / fire alarm sounds

Principals of emergency evacuation

Serious fire scenarios (video footage)

Introduction to fire fighting equipment (identification & use)

Fire Equipment - practical

Fire Fighting : Practical – Hotcan & Killer in the Kitchen

QUALIFICATION
Certificate of Attendance (refresher training recommended every 2 years)

LOCATION
At Longfield Training & Development Centre or client’s premises. *Only available at Longfield Training & Development Centre – a purpose-built facility with 7 fully equipped training rooms and a live fire training complex.

OTHER INFORMATION
Refreshment: Tea/coffee and lunch provided.
Dress Code: Loose, comfortable clothing, i.e. tracksuit & flat soled shoes or trainers.
