THE TEAM
Our team of training officers consists of current or retired fire fighters and specialists. Our specialists have been Registered Psychiatric Nurses and have taught personal protection for both public and private sector. The combination of years of experience brings a course and techniques based on reality, not textbooks. Providing, a unique and dynamic approach to managing violence in the workplace.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Employers and all members of staff who come into contact with members of the workforce and the general public.

OBJECTIVES
To provide delegates with the knowledge required to develop individual and organisational effectiveness in managing workplace violence.

This course can be tailored to meet individual organisations in order that relevant workplace experiences/issues may be reflected in the delivery of the course.

Risk Management

Violence Prevention

Principles of maintaining a safe environment

Communications skills with ‘conflict’ situations

Post incident staff support

The law and self-defence

Personal safety ‘Breakaway’ techniques
