Hertfordshire Business Guide and Business Directory

A new business guide for Hertfordshire has been produced by the Hertfordshire Economic Development Officers Group (HEDOG) and Herts Prosperity. This guide brings together information about the Hertfordshire economy, towns and councils, new developments and investments throughout the county and details of around 8,000 local businesses. It will act as the definitive reference guide for existing businesses and those looking at relocating into the area.

The guide has been produced in hard copy, including a CD-ROM with details of the local businesses, which is available free of charge from Hertfordshire County Council. To obtain a copy of the guide please contact the Environment Department using the Contact Us link in the Site Tools section on the left hand side of this page.

The CD-ROM includes self contained software to allow you to search for and display the details for businesses based on their name, location, type of company or employee band (including combinations of the above). There is also the option to upgrade the software to include the following additional features:

Level 1 - Reporting features, Address label features and Mailmerge features.

Level 2 - Update existing database records, Add new database records, Telephone support, Free software upgrades and Automatic live update of the database.

Level 3 - Exporting features.

These additional service levels are available subject to a one off charge. All features and services are cumulative. i.e. Level 3 includes all features in Levels 1 and 2. For further information on Prices or Service Levels or to Upgrade your database please contact Burrows Communications on 020 8773 3060.

An on-line version of the Business Guide is also available via the link to the right.
