Population estimates for local authorities - 2001 census

On 30th September 2002 the Office for National Statistics (ONS) published their estimates of population for Local Authorities from the 2001 Census. At that time ONS stated that these estimates would be revised at a later date.

Revised figures were published at the same time as the Key Statistics for Local Authorities in February 2003. The revised figures are to be taken as the final figures and these are shown below.

Figures provided show population by sex and five year age bands for Hertfordshire as a whole and each of the ten District Councils.
