Strategic benefit
The most successful projects have goals that coincide with the strategic objectives of all their partners. All partners need to be clear about their own strategic goals and those of the funding body, and must design a project that addresses both. Innovative projects are, by their nature, ambitious. However ambition needs to be balanced by focus so plans must be realistic and achievable.

Direct benefit
Partners and users benefit directly from products developed, skills acquired, accreditation secured, capacity established and reputations enhanced.

Partnership Working
Partners may be enriched by the partnership activity in terms of support, joint working, further projects, and access to new ideas, techniques, resources and networks.
