Multi-agency teenage pregnancy and sexual health training from the Hertfordshire Teenage Pregnancy Strategy.
Free courses for staff working with young people and teenage parents - April 2008 to March 2009.
Key to local implementation of Hertfordshire’s Teenage Pregnancy Strategy is providing support to staff working with young people and young parents in the county. Enabling them to support young people and young parents and discuss teenage pregnancy, sex and relationships and sexual health issues with them.
The courses in this booklet are being offered as part of a range of initiatives supporting staff from agencies in their work with young people and young parents.
The courses on offer in this booklet are free* and aimed at staff working with young people or teenage parents, with some knowledge or experience of working on a range of teenage pregnancy, sex and relationships and sexual health issues.
We have worked with the Family Planning Association (fpa) to develop some of these courses specifically for Hertfordshire staff. Some of the courses have been commissioned from their national training programmes to enable more local staff to have access to them. The courses in this booklet will be delivered by fpa and Hertfordshire’s Money Advice Unit.
