Hertfordshire Learning Partnership

www.hertsdirect.org/hlp

The Hertfordshire Learning Partnership (HLP) is for all maintained schools and other settings in Hertfordshire. It sets out the key principles for the way in which schools, Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) and the wider children’s partnership work together to break down barriers to learning and improve outcomes for all children and young people.

The HLP also sets out:
• the local authority framework for monitoring, challenge, support and intervention in schools
• the Hertfordshire Children’s Trust Partnership (HCTP) framework for integrated practice
• procedures for working with schools causing concern
• the school self-evaluation summary profile

It was revised and republished in April 2009 in line with the anticipated duty of schools to cooperate with Children's Trust arrangements, following consultation with schools, key CSF officers, the HCTP and other partners.

HLP April 2009 and other key documents can be found below. If you require a hard copy of the document, please contact Jackie Goodhall on 01438 844824 or email jackie.goodhall@hertscc.gov.uk
