Children's Trust reports and performance monitors

Based on feedback from partners and the Joint Area Review, this year’s CYPP is much shorter and more focused to ensure it is readily understood and targeted at areas which require most improvement.

The CYPP identifies ten priority outcomes for children and young people and outlines the positive conditions we wish to see for children, the actions we will undertake to achieve this, and how we will measure our success.

29 Performance Indicators have been identified to monitor the 2008/09 CYPP and progress will be reported on a quarterly basis.

The headline sheet summarizes progress and assesses whether performance is (a) ahead (b) on course (c) slipping or (d) yet to be assessed.

A more detailed breakdown of performance is also included in the monitor which contains graphical information and explains why the indicator performing better or worse; what partners are doing to improve performance against the indicator; and how children and young people are better off as a result.
