New Scheme 2008 - Nomination Forms

There are two different nominations you can make in respect of pension benefits payable in the event of your death:

Death Grant Nomination

In the event of your death, a lump sum death grant of 3 times your actual pay will be payable if you were an active member at the time. You can nominate any person(s)or organisation you wish as long as your nominees add up to 100%

Nominated Co-habiting Partner

Spouses and registered civil partners are automatically entitled to a survivor's pension for the rest of their life. There is no need to complete a nomination form if you are married or in a civil partnership. However, if you are co-habiting, you can choose to nominate your partner to receive a survivor's pension for the rest of their life. This is not automatic and so a nomination form must be completed. Please read the notes attached to the form carefully to ensure you meet the criteria.
