The Way We Work open day

In Hertfordshire we are transforming the way we work by moving from 51 impractical and resource-hungry sites to three main bases.

Now nearing completion, we have achieved:

• flexible accommodation for 4500 staff
• full utilisation of the latest technology to enable people to work from any location
• a countywide network of 'touchdowns' where staff can drop in and work
• greater use of flexible working opportunities
• state-of-the-art learing and organisational development suites
• an entirely self-funded project with projected efficiency savings upwards of £3 million per year
