At the heart of the organisation are the county councillors who represent the views of the public. Supporting the political processes and other areas of the county council's activity is the job of Corporate Services.

These important services, often operating behind the scenes, make it possible for Hertfordshire County Council to achieve quality services in the communities of Hertfordshire, in our schools, our libraries and our day centres and fire stations.
