What to do in an emergency

You can call your doctor, or whoever is on duty at your surgery.


If you or the person you are concerned about are already in contact with a mental health service, you can call the service direct. There will be a telephone number on the appointment card, or on any letters from them.


Select the link called 'Contact us' (on the left of this page) to contact Adult Care Services for advice.


If you think that someone may be a risk to themselves or to others, you can approach the Police for help.
