Your home care service - how to get it and what to expect

Private agencies and voluntary organisations provide a range of home care services.

You can arrange home care services for yourself. Or you may have home care services arranged by Hertfordshire County Council, through Adult Care Services, following an assessment of your needs.

The county council will only use home care agencies that meet national standards in quality, reliability, staffing and management.

All home care agencies should respect the individual rights, ethnic origin, choices, privacy, dignity and independence of the people they help.
