NHS websites include:

• a national site which is a 'gateway' to search for local information about GPs, dentists, etc. Use the link called nhs.uk, (on the right of the screen)
• NHS Direct, with information about symptoms (there is also a telephone line 24 hours a day)- use the link called NHS Direct (on the right of the screen)
• regional and county health trusts - use the link below
• local Primary Care Trusts, with local information - use the link below

There are numerous websites about health, including others provided by the NHS. If it is a website put on by the NHS, it will have nhs.uk at the end of the url address.
