Younger people with dementia

Dementia is a general term used for disorders that result in a progressive decline in mental abilities such as remembering, learning, reasoning and communicating. This is sometimes accompanied by changes in personality and behaviour.

Dementia can affect people of all ages and it is estimated that about 17,000 people in the UK who are under age 65 are affected.
