What will I be asked when requesting help from Adult Care Services?

As well as personal details, we will ask you things like:

• What are your current difficulties?
• How long have you been experiencing these?
• How have you been managing so far?
• What do you think might help?
• Do you have someone like a family member or friend who helps you manage?
• Has there been any change in your personal situation recently, for example a close friend or relative moving away?

If you are contacting us on behalf of someone else these questions refer to them. We will also want to hear your own views of their situation particularly where you are very involved in looking after them.
