Supporting People - how to get involved

If you, or someone you care for, receive support through the Supporting People programme we want to make sure that you have the opportunity to have your say on the services you receive.

We want you to be involved in planning and improving the services we offer. Telling us what you think helps us to improve our services.

There are various ways for you to get involved, you can:
  • help us to develop our Supporting People strategy
  • tell us whether you are getting a good service
  • tell us whether the information we provide (leaflets, posters and this website) is useful
To find out more about getting involved please contact the Supporting People team. Select the contact us link on the left of this page and use the Adult Care Services number.

Some people may need extra support to get involved. The people who support you should help you have your say.

The Supporting People team will:
  • provide information in other formats such as Braille, large print or other languages on request
  • hold meetings in accessible places
  • consider arrangements for transport to meetings
  • take time to listen to your views
