Our committment to involving you in the Supporting People programme

Our service users and carers are at the centre of how we develop our Supporting People programme and we try to involve you in any plans we have for new and improved services.
The Hertfordshire Supporting People team is committed to:

• Providing a high standard of service
• Involving you in any changes and developments we make to our services
• Checking with you that you are happy with the services you receive
• Producing accessible information about our support services
• Involving you in decisions about the type and level of support you receive
• Ensuring you have the opportunity to talk in confidence about any concerns you may have about the support you are getting

You can expect to have access to clear information about:

• what services are available and how to apply
• how we check that you are getting a good service
• whether you will have to pay towards the cost of your support

You can get involved in the planning of any service developments by:

• answering a questionnaire or a telephone survey
• talking to people who visit your support service
• talking in a small group about what works well
