Financial administration protocol

The Financial Administration Protocol is for all long term services and has been developed to improve the flow of information between Hertfordshire County Council and providers, and vice verse.

Alongside the need to improve information, we have for some time, suspected that there are more service users entitled to Supporting People funding via the Fairer Charging route and when we compare ourselves to similar Administering Authorities, our take up of referrals is low. To this end, we have established an annual programme target of 34 new referrals (based on figures emanated from our JONK database) and for the remaining part of 07/08, a pro rate target of 17 new referrals. Part of this performance management will include regular reporting to the Programme Development Group and Commissioning Body.
