How will the information be used?

Communities and Local Government (CLG) will monitor outcomes at a high level, but it has charged Administering Authorities with the task of closely monitoring them. We are working with providers and partners to agree a clear and constructive approach. Initially the results are being discussed at Programme Development group, Commissioning Body and Provider forums.

During 2008/09 the information is being used to identify and learn from good practice, and improve services that are struggling to meet service users’ needs and is being used to inform contract monitoring work.
