Eligibility for Supporting People services

Supporting People programme funds can only be used to pay for housing related support for vulnerable people, and is specifically aimed at helping people to establish themselves, or to stay, in their own homes.

Examples include helping people learn to manage their own money, apply for benefits and keep their home secure.

The eligibility policy sets out what sorts of activities and services the Hertfordshire Supporting People programme can pay for and the groups of people who can be supported.
