Supporting People performance indicators

Performance Indicators are a contractual requirement for most services. The Supporting People team looks at two types of indicators; Service Performance Indicators (SPI) and national Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • SPI 1 Service Availability (Accommodation based services)
  • SPI 2 Utilisation Levels (Accommodation & Floating Support services)
  • SPI 3 Staffing Levels (Accommodation & Floating Support services)
  • SPI 4 Throughputs (Accommodation & Floating Support services)
  • KPI 1 Planned Departures (short-term)
  • KPI 2 Maintaining Independent Living (long term / permanent)

It is important that the Performance Indicator(PI) workbook data is completed correctly and returned by the quarterly deadline dates. It will be used in managing your contract and gives a picture of how supported housing is performing across Hertfordshire.

If you have any questions about competing the PI workbook, or making any changes to previously submitted data, please contact supportingpeople.pi@hertscc.gov.uk
