Advice for older people
The Advocacy Service is a free, confidential service to older people, their carers and relatives. It is one of the services offered by Age Concern Hertfordshire.
What can the Advocacy Service offer:
- Someone to listen and help clarify the situation.
- Practical assistance to secure rights and access services.
- Help explore options and make choices.
For example:
- Communicate with statutory bodies on your behalf.
- Arrange personal support/representation at meetings and tribunals.
- Complain on your behalf about poor goods and/or services.
