Advice for older people

The Advocacy Service is a free, confidential service to older people, their carers and relatives. It is one of the services offered by Age Concern Hertfordshire.

What can the Advocacy Service offer:
  • Someone to listen and help clarify the situation.
  • Practical assistance to secure rights and access services.
  • Help explore options and make choices.
For example:
  • Communicate with statutory bodies on your behalf.
  • Arrange personal support/representation at meetings and tribunals.
  • Complain on your behalf about poor goods and/or services.
