Careers
An annual publication containing details of approximately 600 jobs and careers of all types, from unskilled to professional work.
What colour is your parachute?
Subtitled 'A practical manual for job-hunters and career changers', this book was first published in 1970 and still remains a key text in the field.
Education and training
UCAS Big Guide
This publication helps applicants choose the most appropriate subjects, courses and places of study and includes information about entrance requirements. The Department for Education and Skills also provides information on a variety of subjects.
Vocational training
‘Floodlight’ lists London’s day and evening classes run by 105 different colleges and universities. Hertfordshire Learning and Skills Council provides information and advice about learning opportunities.

National newspapers and magazines
All broadsheet newspapers are taken on a daily basis plus journals covering specific occupations e.g. Design Week, Accountancy, Construction News, Grocer.
Executive Grapevine
These directories cover UK and international executive recruitment consultants and talent management.
Applications and interviews
