What we expect from our suppliers

The varied needs of the Council are delivered by a variety of suppliers, ranging from the small local enterprise to the multi-national conglomerate. The choice of where to purchase is made on an assessment of what represents best value and will give the right support to the delivery of the Council's services

Our suppliers need to be reliable, competent and customer focused. We will need you to demonstrate your ability to meet our requirements.

We advertise some of our requirements on Tender Opportunities. If you access Tender Opportunities to apply for inclusion in a particular tender you will receive specific instructions. You may be required to complete a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) to enable preliminary shortlisting to take place. Alternatively you may be asked to submit the appropriate tender documents that will be provided. To view Tender Opportunities click on the Contracts and Tenders link on the right.

In that section you can also register to receive e-mail alerts which will notify you when contracts in the categories that you have selected, are being tendered.
