The Department of Communities and Local Government has been working with both central and local government to publish data on public sector assets in England. Going forward, all public sector bodies, including Government departments and agencies, are being asked to publish a list of the location of the land and buildings that they own on an annual basis. The publication of this data is being coordinated by Central Government who are providing a map based viewing tool which can be reached by following the link entitled Public Sector Assets Website.
