Criminal Justice Board

Hertfordshire Criminal Justice Board has responsibility for the criminal justice system administered in this county. The following agencies belong to the Board:

• Hertfordshire Police
• Magistrates' Courts
• Court Service
• Crown Prosecution Service
• Hertfordshire Probation Services
• HM Prison The Mount
• Youth Justice Team

The Board has established a Diversity Group, with the remit of advising the Board on diversity matters, with particular reference to race and equality issues.
