Engagement and empowerment

We are committed to purposeful engagement with local people on issues and decisions that affect their lives. To achieve this we work closely with the ten district and borough councils, local police and health services and the voluntary sector.

We seek to understand people's views and experiences of their local area and public services.

In particular we want to better understand the needs of those whose circumstances make them vulnerable or marginalised and of children and young people.

Our aim is for local people to feel empowered so that their contributions make a difference to the quality of services we provide.
